~ Really looking forward to watch The Artist, an incredibile goldie and looking oldie movie, just as glorious as they used to make them years and years ago... This film has an 8.5 in IMDB Artistically !!!
This movie is about :

~ The Iron Lady (2011), in IMDB it says that :

I just love how Meryl Streep acts in every role she plays, although when she was younger, her movies were pure art, now cinematography is pure comercial art.

~ Sherlock Holmes 2 ( A Game of Shadows). (2011).

I have not seen the first part, but looking forward to watch this new one, directed by the British Guy Ritchie( also known as Madonna' s ex husband).

The story goes like this:

Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room...until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large-Professor Moriarty - and not only is he Holmes' intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, the evidence, as construed by Inspector Lestrade, points to suicide. ~ The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo (2011). I have not read the books, unlike the whole planet did...but I liked the idea I got from the trailer so I am giving it a second chance. Also, the Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard had made me laugh a lot in Mamma Mia(the movie).and also hired his voice as a Momminpapa in "Moomins and the Comet Chase". I would love to see this one, as I am an avid reader and fan of the Moomins!

Post Edit: No entendí por que el Circo Americano se llama así, siendo fundado por una familia italiana. NO pude encontrar nada relacionado a esto...así que no sé en realidad por que decidieron intitulase así.

Pentru prima oara in 28 ani parasesc batranul continent, desi singura.
Asta e marele regret, ca nu merg insotita...insa deh, merg la un training.
Unde se intelege ca trebuie sa stau incuiata in camera de hotel de 5 * sa studiez...cu 35ºC afara....eh. Asta mergea in Montrose, unde era frig si ploua, unde atmosfera indemna la invatat.
Dubai, este un emirat foarte cosmopolit, bogat, cu o calitate a vietii foarte ridicata si turism de lux.
Mi-ar placea sa vad desertul, insa nu stiu cum sa ajung la el...pare indepartat desi este acolo...insa cum nu depind de transport si nici nu am cu cine calatorii, prefer sa raman in Dubai sa fac cumparaturi si sa ma plimb pe aleile pline de femei bogate, purtand burka.

Europa este locul unde am crescut si pe care am tot incercat sa il vizitez, in cat mai multe colturi. Nu stiu cum este in afara ei. Cu siguranta este foarte diferit.
Mai ales intr-o zona cum este Orientul Mediu, unde islamismul extrem ma inspaimanta, unde femeile sunt considerate niste lucruri si care pot fi aruncate oricand de masculi. Nu pot fi de acord cu acest fel de a gandi, nu pot schimba eu multe, musulmanii in general au idei clare si foarte tradionale, sunt conservatori. Am avut ocazia sa lucrez cu cativa si diferentele sunt extrem de evidente.

Insa astept cu nerabdare sa vad Dubai-ul, unde se presupune ca oamenii sunt mai liberali...insa imi amintesc Sex & the City 2 ( filmat in Abu-Dhabi)...si parca nu mai pare totul atat de simplu si permisiv...

I had a few hours in Aberdeen, meeting my friends and having good laugh.Took some few pictures while there, I also had a nice meal at Handmade Burger, I love the organic free range Scottish Beef meat and the freshly made onion rings and mozarella and tomato salad, they even had the RIGHT lemonade. Each time I ask for it, I get a Sprite back, this time was an original lemonade made out of lime & lemons and sparkling water. :-)

I am all involved in this subject, researching for my Final Project in TEFL.
Mainly I came to different conclusions:
- it is valuable to be bi/tri/multilingual.
- researchers suggests that bilingualism may delay the onset of age-related dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, by up to four years. Although scientists don’t know why bilingualism creates this “cognitive reserve,” some theorize that speaking two languages may increase blood and oxygen flow to the brain and keep nerve connections healthy—factors thought to help ward off dementia.
- bilingualism is extremely widespread and is the norm in today's world.

More recently, scientists have discovered that bilingual adults have denser gray matter (brain tissue packed with information-processing nerve cells and fibers), especially in the brain’s left hemisphere, where most language and communication skills are controlled. The effect is strongest in people who learned a second language before the age of five and in those who are most proficient at their second language. This finding suggests that being bilingual from an early age significantly alters the brain’s structure.

This picture taken in the summer of 2007 is the first time (and not the last so far) when I have put on my (large) coveralls that I am using daily when I work offshore, on the rigs.The ones I have now are looking on me like I am some kind of model there, when washed they are cleaned at a very high temperature, due to oil and other oily substances spotted on them..so they shrink quite badly and fast.I am needing a new one actually.

I use this also daily to look at my samples...

Madeleine Wickham) si desi este in sens literar un "chick-lit", este realist si in acelasi timp tulburator de fascinant si haios, Rebecca Bloomwood face haz de necaz si traieste in lumea ei unde totul miroase a Channel si unde accesoriile si hainele iti aduc fericire ...

Apoi se muta la New York unde Luke isi bazeaza afacerile si Becky incearca sa cucereasca mass-media americana, sfarsind de fiecare data in probleme financiare din cauza obsesiei compulsive de a cumpara haine (in special) sau orice i se pare absolut necesar( aproape orice, dupa cum marturiseste).

Volumul doi se incheie cu happy-end desi pana la sfarsit nu se va decide totusi viitorul celor doi protagonisiti ca un cuplu...
In cel de-al treilea volum, aflati la nunta celei mai bune prietene(Suze) Luke o cere in casatorie pe Becky care imediat accepta si incepe cu ardoare sa isi pregateasca nunta...numai ca sunt multe probleme pe drum si in final ea are 2 nunti, 2 rochii, una in New York si una in Oxshott (Surrey), nimeni nu banuieste in ce este "bagata" Becky si nici ea nu realizeaza pana afla clauza contractului incheiat cu wedding planner-ul new yorkez: in caz de anulare trebuie sa plateasca 100.000$...totul se rezolva miraculos si Becky se casatoreste acasa in Anglia, unde parintii ei i-au pregatit o nunta speciala.

Nu pot da multe detalii, vreau sa descoperiti voi cartile...

Eu le-am citit in original, in Engleza, de obicei imi place sa citesc in versiunea scrisa direct de scriitor, traducerile uneori altereaza versiunea originala...

Yes, I am still in Scotland. Supposedly for work, which is being delayed.

Therefor, I went hill walking. I put on my walking Northface and started ascending and descending.

The views are spectacular up there, Queen Elizabeth the IInd has a picnic house just in front of the Loch Muick, there is heather (scottish wild flowers) everywhere and the scenery has 3 predominant colours: green, purple and grey ( it was really cloudy and dark, but not raining).

La temperatura del agua en la piscinita tenia 26 grados, en cambio no se parece en mada realmente con el agua helado del Mar del Norte.
Yo soy la unica persona con casco diferente, la del rojo, porque no sabia nadar...al principio ha sido horrendo, luego cogi confianza y con mucha atencion y aplicacion, hice todo bien, incluso acordar primer ayuda (CPR _cardio pulmonary response) y apagar diversos fuegos con distintos extinctores.

Me gusta mucho la capital alemana, no he conseguido ver todo lo que quería en 3 días, hace 5 años, por esto ahora iré acompañada por ti, intentando mezclarnos con los Berlineses, comiendo salchichas Bratwurst y cerveza y appfel strudel como postre.

Así me siento aqui, en una plataforma que hace 3 años me sentía aropada de gente amistosa / amable. Esta vez no tengo las mismas sensaciones, no tenemos telefono en la cabina , en accommodations tenemos solo 1 telefono que no me deja marcar mis 2 numeros (porque no son nr.ingleses, nah!) y debo acudir al radio operator para intentar llamar unos max.10 minutos. Claro que debo rellenar un formulario con mi nombre, la empresa y la duración de la llamada...

Eso quiere decir que paga BH por mi? hm,, pues así deben si me mandan al infierno laboral...

POST EDIT: las cosas han mejorado , ya no me puedo quejar por el telefono que tenemos uno en la oficina/contenedor y he cambiado la habitacion, sigue haciendo frio en todos los lados, pero por lo menos es muy silenciosa esta habitación, lo que me agrada ya que puedo dormir sin problemas. La gente desagradable se han ido a sus casas y han venido otros, con una energia positiva, personas más simpaticas....

Quedan 4 días hasta que me embarcaré en el helicoptero y los dos aviones...En Madrid vendré pronto!

Ya has conseguido, queridito, que publiqué una entrada en mi blog sobre algo que me has"infestado": juegos de mesa.
Las chicas no suelen jugar, ellas mejor salen de compras/ rebajas o salen a bailar (cosa que me gusta mucho pero que no lo practico suficiente ).

Pues para empezar puedo recordar el primer juego que hemos jugado (con varios amigos tuyos en C/ San Emilio) y que realmente lo encontraba aburrido y no me atraía nada...el juegos de los aviones, un wargame puro y duro. War of the Wings, que de esto estoy hablando, consigue la peor punctuación mía. Un 0 !!!

Luego las cojas mejoraron y jugué cosas muchisimo más interesante / divertidos como los siguentes que consiguen todos punctuaciónes altas:

This post might look a bit superficial/ shallow, but some blogs I follow started posting these stuff and I thought I might try and find only 10 STUFF I owned and liked in the last month
...these 10 things are supposed to be mine and from all of them the last 4 I could give them away to anyone interested...

1. My new grey trousers from Maine.
2. New multifunctional bag Eastpack

3. The graphic novel "Dublines", where I could know better one of my favorite writers James Joyce, a gift from my sweetie boy.
4. Dominant Species, a new boardgame my sweetie bought and when we started playing(although confusing at first sight) we really hit it on and started liking it.

5.My new white-purple Adidas Runners for spinning & jogging and other sport activities
6. My IPod Nano, which now one can not find it on the market ( it is a model from 2007).

The next 4 I also liked but I could give them away...

So far I have been working in Scotland(though Offshore) for more than 3 yrs, and I have had 'the plasure' to know quite well Aberdeen(which I don' t like!!) and visited Edinburgh (which I like!!).
I have been to Inverness and had a reveletion, it is gorgeous, even the climate was nicer(or maybe I was lucky that day!). I was close to see Loch Ness and maybe meet Nessie, but didn't, so I 'll leave it to the next time...there will be one, sometime!~!

The funny thing is that I ate in a turkish(not kebab) restaurant in Inverness..I wouldn't try the horrible Huggis for anything in the world! :)

Offfshore Oil Rigs..." a home away from home"...

Yesterday I spent some good hours in the driller's "dog house" where I was assisting at how roughnecks and roustabouts (the lowest jobs in the oil industry, but much more better paid than a geologist...) were pooling out of the hole the BHA, and I was supposed to help Tony- the DD, with tightening the 3 pieces of equipment he had to sent back to town.

I admire these people courage and force and humor for doing a very physical and dangerous job.

As I have been on a short (but intense) holiday in the magical Switzerland, I couldn't forget that one of the most famous Swiss landmarks for me it's HEIDI !
As read just now on Wikipedia, I know that "...Heidi's Years of Wandering and Learning (German: Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre), usually abbreviated as Heidi, is a novel about the events in the life of a young girl in her grandfather's care, in the Swiss Alps. It was written as a book "for children and those who love children" (as quoted from its subtitle) in 1880 by Swiss author Johanna Spyri. The Heidi book is among the best-known works of Swiss literature ..."

~ The story tell us that Adelheid alias Heidi, is a girl first raised by her aunt Dete in Maienfeld, Switzerland. Dete brings 5-year-old Heidi to her grandfather, who has been at odds with the villagers for years and lives in seclusion on the alm. This has earned him the nickname Alp-Öhi ("Alp-uncle" in the Graubünden dialect). He at first resents Heidi's arrival, but the girl manages to penetrate his harsh exterior and subsequently has a delightful stay with him and her best friend, young Peter the goat-herd.
Dete returns three years later to bring Heidi to Frankfurt as a companion of a 12-year-old disabled girl named Klara Sesemann. Heidi spends a year with Klara, having conflict with the Sesemanns' strict housekeeper Fraulein Rottenmeier and becoming more and more homesick. Klara's wealthy family promises to provide a shelter for Heidi, in case her grandfather will no longer be able to do so.

I was deeply sorry that in my trip was not included the Appenzel region, where one could visit Heidi's village...

Le gusta a un acuario...
- Por el lado positivo, un acuario es simpático y humanitario. Es honesto y totalmente leal, original e brillante. Un acuario es independiente e intelectual.
