Offfshore Oil Rigs..." a home away from home"...Yesterday I spent some good hours in the driller's "dog house" where I was assisting at how roughnecks and roustabouts (the lowest jobs in the oil industry, but much more better paid than a geologist...) were pooling out of the hole the BHA, and I was supposed to help Tony- the DD, with tightening the 3 pieces of equipment he had to sent back to town.
I admire these people courage and force and humor for doing a very physical and dangerous job.
